1 Note Taking 2 AMPDG 3 Random mail surprises? 4 Exercise 4.1 Stretchy Bands 4.2 Stretchy Tubes 4.3 Gymnastic Rings 5 GHT 1 Note Taking My note taking has dropped down to a weekly exercise, though still using Zettlr. Also I finally added a bunch of projects to my Proper Grown up website. These are all in markdown so can be easily repurposed. So that worked well.

End of Month Report - September 2020

0.1 Note Taking 0.2 AMPDG 0.3 Anything Else? 0.1 Note Taking I’m trying a new experiment where I keep a daily log of what I’m doing. ⊕ It works for starfleet… In Conjunction I’m also documenting as much info as I can. This is a bit related to the projects lists thing above. I forget stuff a lot and I’m terrible at note taking. ⊕ Probably everyone forgets stuff a lot, but I can’t tell, because I’m not them.

Projects Diary

I’m going to try and keep a track of how various projects are going all in one place and push it at the end of the month. This means I can make a note of smaller progress that doesn’t warrant a post of it’s own. Interface 2nd July 2020 Another fairly radical overhaul. I’ve set up an openhab server. Openhab has already done the hard work of setting up bindings to common household smart devices.

Fixing my Shortcodes

The output formatting of this blog has been going wrong for a few days. I have some time now to fix it, so why not cross of two todoist items instead of one. What’s Wrong? The most evident problem is that marginnotes are not rendering properly. The line after the marginnote is turning into marginnote formatting but not in the right place. ⊕ I also have one draft post appearing on the production build somehow.

Yellow T-Shirt

The school has informed me that the child needs a Yellow T-Shirt for sportsday. Sportsday is tomorrow, and we do not own a child sized yellow t-shirt. I’m pretty sure there isn’t enough time to get one sent. Even next day delivery isn’t going to get her before 0830. I suppose if it comes to it I can mask up and trawl around various shops in search of one, but I had things I wanted to do today.

Advertising

My wife is running some workshops on critical thinking and why Sherlock Holmes is actually bad at it. I’ve taken this opportunity to explore different ways to market this course. I wanted to know how different ways of getting people’s attention might work. ⊕ This blog isn’t one of them. It’s not really here for anyone to actually read. The first thing I needed was a landing page so that I could see clearly on the analytics if people were following my links.

Watermelons

The child watches a lot of YouTube. A lot of it is completely terrible and I wish they would watch less. One of the channels they watch is called “Slick Slime Sam” It is one of the ones that I don’t mind all that much because it features a person ⊕ Well, a persons hands and voice. Presumably there is a person attached. assisted by a pink creature doing lots of crafts projects.

End Of Month Report - June 2020

Some people I know aspire to read a lot. To that end they’re recording their monthly reading on their notebook. I’ve not found the time or motivation to do a lot of reading, nor do I especially aspire to. I do aspire to do interesting things. Life is easier when you sit around watching stargate and playing computer games from the 90s, but it’s more fulfilling when you do some interesting things.
